Science and Technology Advisory Group (STAG) of Executive Yuan, Taiwan, quoted the investigation from market survey to express. It indicated that the output value of Chinese Taipei Information and Communication Security will reach its new high at 572 hundred million (New Taiwan Dollar), on 2009.
Chinese Taipei enterprises are positively developing export trade and the result yields gradually. However, the investment proportion of government and enterprises on Information and Communication Security is still lower than the countries including Korea, Singapore and Japan. It shows Chinese Taipei has less alertness on Information and Communication Security than other Asia countries, like Korea and Japan.
The whole world is currently stepping towards the high technology society. The threat of Information and Communication Security continues to intensify. STAG publishes the 2008 Information and Communication Security Policy White Paper on March. It hopes to lead the Information and Communication Security of Taiwan stepping to a new milestone
The Deputy Executive Secretary of STAG, Dr. Kuo, points out that the regulations of protection on commercial e-mail management and personal information are still under the examination in Legislative Yuan. After the regulations approved, it will help to carry out the Information and Communication Security in Chinese Taipei and also protect the commercial benefit.
Information and Communication Security Policy White Paper also tries to build a key index of Information and Communication Security. It presents the current status of Information and Communication Security in Chinese Taipei by the figures of White Paper.
